Barú's fluffy gourmet marshmallows are topped with salted caramel and then dipped in Belgian dark chocolate. The marshmallows are made naturally with vanilla bean and honey.
Ingredients
Marshmallow (47 %) (glucose fructose syrup, sugar, water, dextrose, gelatin, maize starch, honey, ground vanilla bean, acidity regulator: lactic acid), dark chocolate (40 %) (cocoa mass, sugar, cocoa butter, butter oil (milk), emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural flavour: vanilla), Fleur de Sel caramel (13 %) (glucose fructose syrup, sugar, condensed milk, salted butter (milk), whole milk powder, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, water, salt, emulsifier: soya lecithin, natural flavour: vanilla, Fleur de Sel (0.2 %)).
Dark chocolate contains cocoa solids 54 % minimum.
Allergens: Contains milk and soya. Produced in a factory that also handles nuts, gluten, sesame and egg.

Quality ingredients
These marshmallows are indeed high quality in every way, but perhaps my expectations were too high due to all the praise I read, and so I was disappointed when the 'caramel' was just a small flat spot of some rather firm chewy stuff under the chocolate coating on the marshmallow, and didn't match the sumptuous ideal image on the product packaging in my opinion. The individual packaging is convenient, but it does bring some degree of guilt to the coffee moment, like 'nature won't thank you for this...', which is hard to avoid when the wrapper of a single marshmallow sits on the table beside the cup.
