Bergstrands Kafferosteri Meru is a 100 % Fairtrade-certified coffee blend, which creates a berry-like and fragrant taste explosion.

The base of Meru consists of coffee beans from the UCIRI cooperative in Mexico and the COCLA cooperative in Peru, where all coffee is grown according to organic principles. Before the cooperative members organized, they had a hard time getting sensibly paid for their coffee. Now they grow a high-quality coffee that not only provides for them, but also helps pay for education, healthcare and infrastructure.

The coffee beans from UCIRI and COCLA are mixed with beans from Indonesia and Ethiopia. The gentle roasting creates a coffee that balances perfectly between freshness, intensity, enjoyment and commitment.
