Customer reviews
Slightly cardboard-like
I have tried to 'dial in' the right brewing method and ratio (Hario Pegasus filter) and I think I've succeeded. However, the coffee still has a (side) taste and smell. Slightly like cardboard.
Maybe it's due to the Swiss water caffeine extraction?
Light-flavored coffee
Quite an okay decaf, but in my opinion, a bit too tasteless and bland.
P.E.Tastes like campfire sausage
First time trying decaf, the taste is really strange, reminds me of campfire sausage. You can drink it, but I definitely won't buy more.
Used with Aeropress.
Tasteless coffee
The coffee does not smell like coffee and is very tasteless even when black. This is my first decaf coffee, and probably my last. I will stick to regular coffees in the future. I used the Hario V60 as the brewing method.
ARSurprisingly acidic
I usually prefer darker roasts, but maybe this is supposed to taste just like this, bright and acidic. Not bad.
Kofeiini-TonUnplugged Decaf
Excellent coffee.. perhaps one of the best decaf I've had. Excellent service as well!! Thanks!
Judy LynnNot bad, but nothing special either...
The beans don't really smell like anything, maybe like a paper bag? and the taste follows the same direction. You can make coffee from this, but it doesn't impress. Mixed with other "more flavorful" beans it's okay, you can halve the caffeine. Made with V60 and DCP, not yet tested with Aeropress.
mwA bit weak in its flavor...
...said my partner, I don't know myself. But fun to try something new
Very good
Pleasantly light, fresh, and acidic. Brewing method: V60
TJCrema Unplugged Decaf Coffee 250 g
did not like it, too sour and weak aroma, maybe I need to use more beans when grinding for my mocha brewer
Hi! We recommend Crema Unplugged primarily as brewed coffee, as the flavor comes through best that way.
