By using the Jura Claris White water filter cartridge, you get a continuous high water quality thanks to fresh filtration prior to each preparation. The water filter cartridge protects your device against limescale and prolongs its life span. When the filter cartridge is used, your fully automatic coffee machine doesn’t need to be descaled.
Note: Jura has three different filter cartridges. Check which model fits in your machine. Claris Blue, Claris White or Claris Smart.

Unfortunately, the product cannot be used because there was an error in the order. I needed blue filters but didn't know that they had different connection nozzles, so the one I received can't be used unfortunately.

For example, information on compatibility among Jura models would be useful. Or the ability to enter your own machine's model number, and the online store would only show products compatible with that device. (cf. Motonet)

Easy to install, the downside is that you have to remove the filter for the weekend (when the device is not in use) and store it in a glass of water in the fridge; inconvenient
The water filter does not need to be removed from the water tank, nor does it need to be stored in the fridge. It is important to avoid letting the filter dry out, so some instructions advise that if the machine is not used for several weeks, the filter or the entire water tank can be placed in the fridge. However, the coffee machine will prompt you to replace the water filter every two months or after 50 liters of water used, so after a long vacation, the filter will not have much remaining usage time anyway.
