This sturdy Knockbox Basic from JoeFrex is a must-have tool for every home barista. Compact in size, it has a diameter of only 100 mm and it is 120 mm high. It fits perfectly alongside a smaller espresso machine, without taking much space in the kitchen.
The aluminum knock bar is damped with a food grade silicone tube and can easily be removed from the trendy durable plastic casing, which is of course dishwasher safe as well as food-grade. The silicone base ring gives it exceptional stability and protects your work surfaces.

Splatters
The rubber-coated surface mostly acts like a trampoline. It's relatively difficult to knock out the puck, and unfortunately, coffee splatters during the process. A better alternative is to knock the puck directly into the trash can; it's more efficient and less messy.

Quite a functional knock box. No complaints otherwise, but maybe it's a bit small, you need to be careful not to have pieces fly over the edges.

Does what it promises
No unnecessary frills. Nothing special, nothing wrong.
The crossbar stays firmly in place, but can be removed without much effort. The container itself is sturdy and dishwasher safe. Thanks to the wide opening, espresso pucks do not start to mold, even if not emptied daily.

Works well
After dropping a couple of pucks on the floor with a regular trash can, I decided to buy a Knockbox and it's a decent device. It helps a lot if you use filter screens on the puck (puck screen), easy to dig out. Additionally, the usability is really nice. Easy to clean and the pucks come off easily. A bit extra but makes the process so much more pleasant, so I can recommend it.

It was exactly what I was looking for. Very well built, you feel it will last long. It is small but the size is good enough. I am still impressed how useful it is, I would never be able to keep things so tidy and clean without a good knockbox as this one.
Small and handy
Just the right size knock box. Stands very securely and is easy to clean.
BoUseful container
When it arrived in the mail, the box surprised me with its small size. The surprise turned out to be pleasant, as it doesn't take up much counter space and serves its purpose excellently. After a couple of weeks of use, I haven't managed to spill anything. Right after brewing, it only takes a light tap and the puck rests in the bag. There's a rubber ring at the bottom that prevents the container from sliding away and dampens the knocks. It seems to hold about ten 18-gram pucks, after which you empty the container. The bar can be easily removed from the container and both can be cleaned effortlessly.
I have nothing bad to say about it. A simple and functional tool that should belong in every home barista's toolkit.
Fun red knock box
Love the colour, and it's so convenient that this comes apart for cleaning. This box is on the smaller side (good if you don't have a lot of counter space), but that means you need to aim more carefully and also empty more frequently. We need to empty it out every 2-3 days.
