Johan & Nyström Dark Knight organic and Fairtrade-certified espresso coffee is both chocolatey and powerful, soft and sweet, with a rich smooth finish.
The coffee comes from two cooperatives - Incahuasi in Peru and Comicovel in Honduras. The origins is rotated in late spring and then again in the beginning of the winter, so it can be ensured that the coffee is in season and fresh tasting throughout the year.
Incahuasi, Peru
Johan & Nyström have been buying coffee from Incahuasi since 2016. The cooperative is in the Cusco region of southern Peru and was founded in 2005. Today, the cooperative has 480 members who all work hard to gradually improve the quality. They have invested in drying beds and equipment to be able to process the coffee better.
Comicovel, Honduras
The cooperative was founded in 2016 as a result of the Catholic Relief Services project ‘Blue Harvest’. It is about the agronomic development of the forest, as well as the efficient use of water resources.
Johan & Nyström started buying coffee from Comicovel in 2022.
