This caffeine free alternative from Lucaffé is roasted of the sweetest and creamiest coffees. The goal is to be able to offer the same espresso enjoyment as the caffeinated options. A soft and full-bodied espresso.
The coffee is decaffeinated using the methylene chloride method. During the decaffeination process the coffee beans come into direct contact with the solvent, which is then removed through vaporisation.

The composition of the coffee beans has changed and I think it should have been announced at the time of purchase. By changing the settings on the coffee machine, the problem was resolved, but still, I would have liked to know that these beans are now different in composition than before.

We think Lucaffé Decaffeinato is a very good tasting decaf coffee. Smooth and full-bodied.

Overroasted and absolutely useless for decent espresso machine. Like a dry sand after grinding - impossible to temper in proper way - every time got overflow in a cup despite the grinding size. Bitter, overburnt taste.
