Monin Amaretto syrup is based on the classic Italian sweet, almond-flavoured liqueur. Characterised by the distinctive flavour of the ‘mandoria-amara’ or bitter almond, the name Amaretto means ‘a little bitter’ in Italian.

Excellent flavor addition
Very good flavored syrup. We have used it with cappuccino as well as iced coffee and it works.
Sweet but too mild
Surprisingly mild taste, so to bring out the flavor, you have to pour quite a bit, which can make the coffee too sweet. It should have a slightly stronger aroma to prevent it from becoming so sweet.

Quite a nice flavor addition sometimes for dessert coffee, a teaspoon is enough.
