Urnex Cafiza 2 Cleaning Powder for Coffee Machines 900 g
The Urnex Cafiza cleaning powder is designed for cleaning of espresso machines. The concentrated formula eliminates residue in group heads, valves, and lines. The foaming and solubility are balanced for powerful cleaning and optimal rinsing. Use in daily backflush cleaning of your espresso machine.
For Use on Traditional Espresso Machines
- Insert blind filter in the portafilter and add 1/2 teaspoon (3 g) of Cafiza powder in the filter basket. Insert portafilter into group head.
- Activate brew cycle for 10 seconds. Stop 10 seconds. Repeat 5 times.
- Remove portafilter. Activate brew cycle and rinse portafilter in stream of water from group head. Stop cycle.
- Insert portafilter into group head. Repeat step 2 without Cafiza powder 5 times.
- Make and discard a cup of espresso to ensure no residue remains.
Soaking
- Soak filters and metal of portafilter for 30 minutes in 1 teaspoon (6 g) of Cafiza Powder per 1 litre of hot water.
- Rinse with clean hot water.

Detta rengöringsmedel fungerar utmärkt för rengöring av espressomaskiners vissa delar. Yttre kromade saker bör bara ha kortare tids kontakt (max 10-15 min), inre mässingdelar, filterkorgar, etc. fungerar bra till att få helt rent och ha längre tid i lösningen. "Backflusha" inte för ofta med detta/likande medel (1 ggr/6-8 veckor) då det kan torka ut, ta bort fettet i grupphuvudet och då måste man ta isär och fetta om inre delarna av grupphuvudets mekanism, mm.
