Mokaflor Rossa is a fine, classic Italian espresso blend with a distinct character which combines the body and sweetness of Brazilian and Ethiopian Arabica, together with the intensity and creaminess of Indian and Indonesian Robusta varieties.
The body and bitterness are a highlight, contrasted by a pleasing sweetness and a little hint of acidity. Scents of wood and cocoa with a light aftertaste of agrumes. This coffee goes well both as an espresso and with milk.
Mokaflor Coffee Roastery
Mokaflor has always been a family business, today in its third generation. Since 1950 their coffees have been roasted in Via delle Torri in Florence, Italy.
Mokaflor is amongst the founding members of International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Italia. IWCA Italy was created with the aim of supporting and promoting female empowerment throughout the coffee chain and to enhance and encourage the consumption of sustainably grown coffee.

I have been drinking Rossa for 10? Years and it's number one. Wonderful balance in the coffee and a good crema layer.

A strong espresso with a chocolatey taste.

but this Mokaflor Rossa is indeed the best coffee.
R.P.Okay taste but too weak.
Too weak for me. The coffee has an okay taste but is far too weak and shouldn't be in the high roast section for espresso coffee. I have a trick where I add an ingredient to coffee to make the weaker ones drinkable, and I have to blend this one and do that; otherwise, I couldn't drink it.
Others will like it, especially those who pretend they like strong coffee. It's one for the coffee amateur, not the purist, but it's okay and far better than anything available in Sweden.

I tried several different beans(Lucaffé Mamma Lucia , Passalacqua Mehar, Mokaflor Blu, Mokaflor Oro), I liked this one the most. I mostly make cappuccino.

Mokaflor Rossa
An old favorite from years back. Occasionally I try something else, but I always return to the red Mokaflor. Excellent as a bean for the coffee machine, as a base for milk coffee. The same goes for weekend mornings, ground with a grinder and made with a moka pot. 5/5.

Suitable both strong and mild, and with both cow's milk and oat milk. Have used this for years, sometimes try something else but always come back to this.
If you drink espresso on its own, I might personally choose another bean.

One of the best beans on the market. Period. Works as espresso and cappuccino, in latte it is slightly overshadowed by the milk. However, not a super strong bean.
