Mokaflor Nero is a delicate 100 % Arabica espresso coffee blend with a high quality profile. This Italian espresso coffee harmonizes the fineness and the aromatic quality of the Central American Arabica washed in the high plains with the natural full body of the Santos Arabica. When tasted, this blend reveals a pleasant note of freshness and a chocolatey sensation.
The Mokaflor Nero espresso coffee has a balanced acidity thanks to the high percentage of African Arabica-coffees, though there is still a balance between sweetness and bitterness. Scents of cardamom, vanilla and tobacco.
Mokaflor Coffee Roastery
Mokaflor has always been a family business, today in its third generation. Since 1950 their coffees have been roasted in Via delle Torri in Florence, Italy.
Mokaflor is amongst the founding members of International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Italia. IWCA Italy was created with the aim of supporting and promoting female empowerment throughout the coffee chain and to enhance and encourage the consumption of sustainably grown coffee.

Paahteinen ja täyteläinen
Hapokkuus ja katkeruus antavat kahville hyvää ryhtiä. Paahteisuus hallitsee makumaailmaa ja lisäksi mukana myös suklaata ja tupakkaa.

Ihan kelpoja espressopapuja. Ostin testimielessä kuk yritän löytää hyvää "arkikahvia". Pikkuisen liikaa katkeroa itselle, mutta siis ihan juotavaa tuli mokkapannussa.

Eronomaisen tasapainoinen hieman tummahko esperesso. Hyvä crema ja maukas maitokahvina tai suoraan sellaisenaan. Makuprofiililtaan tummimmasta päästä, muttei liian. Sopii moneen suuhun.

Tämä on hyvä, riittävän voimakas, mutta silti pehmeä ja aromikas papu, joka toimii hyvin espressona juotuna ja myös kauramaitopohjaisissa kahveissa. Jauhoin käsikäyttöisellä myllyllä, kahvikoneeni on Rancilio Silvia.

Erittäin hyvä espresso!!! Olisi pitänyt tilata isompi pussi... :)
Okay but not great.
I blended this coffee with the Gringo Nordic I also bought from Crema to make it drinkable, as both of them are too weak to drink. This is better than some of the other Mokaflor coffees, but the gold Mokaflor beats this one.
I won't be buying it again, but if you're one of those people who likes to add milk or sugar to a coffee (and kill it, in my opinion), then this coffee is for you. If you are a purist and only drink it black, this is okay, but the gold Mokaflor is better.
