Mokaflor Nero is a delicate 100 % Arabica espresso coffee blend with a high quality profile. This Italian espresso coffee harmonizes the fineness and the aromatic quality of the Central American Arabica washed in the high plains with the natural full body of the Santos Arabica. When tasted, this blend reveals a pleasant note of freshness and a chocolatey sensation.
The Mokaflor Nero espresso coffee has a balanced acidity thanks to the high percentage of African Arabica-coffees, though there is still a balance between sweetness and bitterness. Scents of cardamom, vanilla and tobacco.
Mokaflor Coffee Roastery
Mokaflor has always been a family business, today in its third generation. Since 1950 their coffees have been roasted in Via delle Torri in Florence, Italy.
Mokaflor is amongst the founding members of International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Italia. IWCA Italy was created with the aim of supporting and promoting female empowerment throughout the coffee chain and to enhance and encourage the consumption of sustainably grown coffee.

Roasted and full-bodied
The acidity and bitterness give the coffee good structure. The roasted flavor dominates the taste profile, along with notes of chocolate and tobacco.

Decent espresso beans. I bought them to test as I'm trying to find a good "everyday coffee." A little too bitter for my taste, but it was drinkable in a moka pot.
J.U.Okay but not great.
I blended this coffee with the Gringo Nordic I also bought from Crema to make it drinkable, as both of them are too weak to drink. This is better than some of the other Mokaflor coffees, but the gold Mokaflor beats this one.
I won't be buying it again, but if you're one of those people who likes to add milk or sugar to a coffee (and kill it, in my opinion), then this coffee is for you. If you are a purist and only drink it black, this is okay, but the gold Mokaflor is better.
Balanced Espresso
An exceptionally balanced slightly darkish espresso. Good crema and delicious as a milk coffee or straight as it is. Flavor profile is on the darker side, but not too much. Suitable for many tastes.

Haven't had the chance to open it yet, but I've had it before and it's very good according to my taste.

This is a good, sufficiently strong, yet smooth and aromatic bean that works well as an espresso and also in oat milk-based coffees. I ground it with a manual grinder, my coffee machine is Rancilio Silvia.
